100 Days of Positive Self-Talk begins today!
Iâ€™ve been wanting to tackle a 100 day project and January 1 seems like a good day to begin.
As I thought through ideas of what I would be willing to commit to and what would support me in my personal and creative journey as I begin this year, I decided to focus on 100 days of positive self-talk and 100 days of drawing this cartoon character I created early last year and then forgot about. I am also committed to writing more in 2020 so this felt like a win-win-win for connecting to my intentions.
My biggest personal challenge throughout my lifetime has been my relationship with my body and my health. Too many years have seen me set and not attain my health goals. So this morning I am sitting with how can I make this year different?
The journey begins with a single step.
I thrive on accountability so my commitment is to focus on shifting my relationship with myself over the next 100 days – to start. And I commit to making this journey a visible one that I share with others.
As with many creative projects, I tend to start off strong and then tend to fade as time and interest wane. I know my creative challenge will be to not get bored and distracted or pulled away down rabbit holes for the next 100 days.Â
Can I do it? Yes I can!Â
And if you see me slipping or skipping days, I ask you to check in on me and remind me to stay on track.
I am curious how my life will change after 100 days of positive self talk and commitment to improving my relationship with myself.
