What Tamara had to say about attending a retreat:

As I reflect on the Time Travelers’ Retreat facilitated by Minette Riordan and Leslie Typrin,  I am steeped in immense gratitude for  the depth and richness of the experience. From the moment we began this 4 and 1/2 day retreat, we traveled in a liminal space of radical acceptance, profound insight, and heartfelt generosity. We were surrounded by the saturated colors of the sacred space created to contain and support our creative unfolding. Delicious food, the company of wise women, the natural environment we spent time in, the abundance of diverse materials and gentle, loving guidance were food for my Soul.  The theme delighted and inspired me with well orchestrated and thoughtful stepping stones along the path end with the sacred sharing of our creations on our last morning together. Leslie and Minette are masterful Magicians who took me on an enchanted journey that I will forever cherish.

What Annette had to say about attending a retreat:

This retreat created a safe, expansive and compassionate container to open and bloom in new ways. It's like an adventure of being locked in an art supply store and getting to play in every fun way my imagination takes me. How fun to transform as the side effect of creating and playing.

What Karen Joy had to say...

Thank you for creating such a safe and supportive space for us to explore and heal individually and together. Each of activities offered it's own invitation to go deeper. I felt held equally in my forward steps and my mis-steps. Through this retreat I embraced old wounds and re-purposed the elements for a collage of a joy-filled future.

Hi, I’m Minette, your guide and facilitator for the Wonder & Wisdom Retreat.

I have always been a risk-taker, adventurer and curiosity seeker who was comfortable jumping feet first into new endeavors. My mantra is, “how hard can it be?”

The answer: way harder than I anticipated but also more fun, more challenging and more fulfilling than I knew was possible.

No version of reinvention has been more challenging than my journey to claiming “I am an artist.”

I am a seeker, deep thinker and rebel on an eternal quest to become the best version of myself. I am sure it will be harder than I thought. But I am up for the challenge.

I am passionate about using expressive and narrative arts as powerful tools to help others find their passion and purpose in midlife and beyond.

I have been teaching, leading and facilitating groups for over 3 decades. There's nothing that I love more than lovingly guiding you through a process of deep reflection that results in a gorgeous piece of art. My genius is in designing experiences that take you on a magical inner journey of exploration and self-discovery in a way that feels fun and playful. I'm known for creating safe spaces for women to connect, share and grow.

I believe that where women gather, magic happens.
