A Waterful Zentangle Challenge
August 23, 2014 / /

I love the weekly Zentangle© challenge from IamtheDiva. It always keeps me thinking, exploring and trying new things.
I had fun with the theme of water this week – mostly through color more than form or specific tangles, other than river stones and waves, which are perennial favorites.
I live near the beach and in fact, walked on the beach in the fog and mist this morning and then again in the warm sun this afternoon.
Water always soothes and inspires me. So does the color blue in all it’s many different hues, shades and variations.
Plus, I love the tangle pattern B’Dylan by Mary Beth Schoonover, which is the lovely dandelion-looking pattern in the tangle at the top of the post.

Like the blue wash on your tiles. I really like the first tile and your zendala. Like the contrast of the yellow in the latter.
three wonderful tiles I really like B’Dylan. thanks for introducing it to me, I really like the intense blue of the middle one
All three are beautiful and have great colors.
Nicely done !
You write “… mostly through color more than form …”, and in the first tile, the purity of the forms actually make them shine. And the colors of course are beautiful
All three of your Tiles are beautiful. Love the color and shading. A lot of effort, talent and skill in each one of your pieces.
You created some very vibrant, beautiful tiles! I love the variety! Your line work and shading is wonderful in all three… Wonderful!
Thank you so much for visiting my entry this week, and leaving a comment! That was so kind of you!
